Homeopathy Diary

This page is my personal diary of homeopathy, the exciting place where you can find out everything you ever wanted to know about my bowel movements and riveting descriptions of my vomit types.

In fact, you might even begin to wonder why I've posted this at all. The reasons are:

Western/orthodox medicine (allopathy) and it's methods are so firmly entrenched in our psyches that it's very difficult to achieve the new 'frame of reference' required to use homeopathy effectively.

Allopathy uses a cure of opposites, so the symptoms of illness are matched to a drug which will produce opposite effects to the symptoms. This is a law of opposites.

Homeopathy works on a law of similars. So symptoms are matched to a substance which causes the same symptoms. This substance is then taken in homeopathic dose to inspire the immune system to cure the entire symptom imbalance. This is a law of similar.

With a law of similars the symptoms of a specific illness are important, but are noted together with the whole person, mind, likes, dislikes, phobias, food preferences, personality types etc. As allopaths rarely ever probe deeper than the symptoms directly related to an illness, it's difficult to get people used to noting their entire symptom picture, focusing instead only on what appears to be directly related.

The 'case-taking' presented here may assist someone either beginning to use homeopathy or contemplating seeing a homeopath.

Keeping a diary of the 'totality of symptoms' is particularly useful in homeopathy because as each remedy is taken there's often a change in the totality that guides one to the next choice of remedy. Yet the change could be a mental/personality one, in the system of allopathy irrelevant, yet very relevant in homeopathy because the most recent symptoms often are an indication of the current vibrational picture. By seeing a sample diary here, readers might obtain some ideas for their own record taking.

My own method/version is, I believe (possibly incorrectly) more useful than the standard already in use - and it is presented here.

Some symptoms, especially mental, are not recalled or realised initially and thus the case taking is an on-going process in the diary.

Physical symptoms

The following was written around March 1999 for posting to a mailing list. As I hadn't yet studied homeopathy, it describes the physical symptoms of my illness only.

My joint/connective tissue problem began around aged six (I'm twenty seven now) I woke up one morning and couldn't stand due to pain. A hospital X-ray showed nothing and it went away after a few hours. It was my knee as I recall. Though after that I remember that whenever I was required to sit in a cramped position on the floor, there would be pain from both knees, though at the time I didn't realise it was abnormal and so didn't say anything.

After that there wasn't really any other symptoms until I was about fifteen. I noticed that when I was in a squatting position and came upright, then my knees would make a scrunching sound. I'd get occasional pain which was mild. If I was asked to help lift something or push a car my legs seemed noticeably weaker than friends of the same age. The occasional pain worse when cold or after sleeping in an abnormal position but it was rare so I didn't worry. I left England in 1993 and was O.K.

In July 1997 I noticed that when I walked round the room with my hand on my left hip, I could feel it click with each step. There was no pain so I forgot about it. Also people would comment at that time that I was sweating abnormally. This lasted about six weeks.

Two weeks later I was on a train and I had a pinching type pain in my left hip. It was made worse because I then had to carry my bags around looking for a hotel. Within two weeks it was very severe indeed. I couldn't walk so well, very stiff, only a few steps each time, couldn't bend down or squat at all. I rested a long time and it got a little better. I recall that sometimes when I sat for a long time, then got up, there would be a very tight feeling on the inside of one of my leg (like something was constricted) and as I very slowly rose it got steadily worse, but then something would "twang" in my leg and the pain would instantly lessen and I could rise. There was an occasional red, itchy rash on both upper arms at that time which would come and go and lasted for about the first month of the newly severe symptoms, though this never came when I hadn't been taking Ibuprofen and could well have been a side effect of this.

I rested for a month and it never went away, but improved enough for me to carry on with life.

I had a period of occasional palpitations for about three weeks in December 1997 that would happen regardless of my activity i.e. random. I haven't had them since but occasionally it feels like my heart beats abnormally for a time, like struggling, though it's neither severe nor painful. Between January and April 1998 the symptoms spread to include all joints except my spine. The worst pain is always in the hips, then knees, the rest rarely painful but clicking alot. I never have squatted nor been able to bend so well due to pain and stiffness. My right shoulder has dislocated three times, once when I fell, once putting on a rucksack and once getting out of bed too fast. In July 1998 I had abnormal blisters on my feet that were severe for about two months but they went away leaving a slight scar. Also in that July I had a tendon that constricted in my right arm for about ten days (it's always the right arm which dislocates). It stood out so it was visible and the skin around it went slightly red, when I tried to raise my arm above shoulder level it was too constricted (the tendon) and so was stopped by a painful tight feeling. This went away never to return though it was similar to a similar earlier symptom in my left leg.

At present the symptoms really vary, it might be the centre of my chest that clicks when stretching one week, the next a dull ache in my thumb. However, the following symptoms are always present: Hips are very stiff and I shuffle to varying degrees when I walk. Clicking in all joints except spine. Can't squat. Can't bend down due to stiffness. Both legs are very weak and need to be lifted to dress and whatever, plus I use my arms to rise from a chair. All muscles seem to tire abnormally quickly and my limbs are thinner, I have to keep adjusting my watch-strap as my wrists and legs are thinner. Some joints seem difference in appearance. Like my legs seem slightly bow at the knees. My left leg clicks on going up stairs so I've stopped using it for that. The little circle of bone on the outside of each wrist seems to protrude ect. It's worse if I walk a very long way, then sit, it will be more painful; for a time. Sometimes my heart seems to beat abnormally, it feels like it's turning slightly in my chest. Othertimes I can feel a vein that shudders abnormally, like there's something blocking it and the blood is trying to get through; that only ever happens in my arms. When I sit down and relax, stretching both legs and tensing the muscles, the whole left leg can shudder/go into slight spasm. Everything is worse if cold or wet or after sleeping on something hard.

Mind

The following describes the mentals of my symptom picture to help illustrate the totality of the imbalance. It might be titled alternatively, just what the hell is wrong With Me.

  • The most obvious aspect of my personality that people might notice is that I avoid all social contact, to the point of knowing no one. I generally speak when I have to and use a mixture of monosyllables and body language to let people know I wish to be alone. Once alone, I do generally prefer my own company. Possibly I'm also overly sensitive to any kind of ridicule and avoid all contact for this reason also. Another thing is that on rare occasions years ago when I did get to know someone, even as a mere friend of brief conversation over a couple of weeks (non-sexual) is a painful despair upon leaving them.

  • A life-long periodic depression that seems to generally improve when travelling.

  • Paranoia about feeling a part of anything. I live abroad and am Asian, but feel neither Asian nor British. I hate feeling that I've joined a group or am linked to or similar to other people. I need different clothes, food preferences?everything.

  • General irritability, much worse since I've been in physical pain constantly. Around six months after first being ill I used to recall past slights of strangers and feel furious anger rising within me.

  • I never look in mirrors, or at reflections or photographs of myself, and haven't for around ten years. It's part of a general personality trait of avoiding anything painful. I noticed my legs are visibly deformed about a year ago and so haven't since looked at my knee. I hate receiving mail or phone calls in case there's bad news. Generally, a tendency to hide.

  • Sleep trouble. Each night I stay up a little longer. Feelings of sleepiness are delayed each night and over the course of time my actual time of falling asleep is early morning. Eventually I'll have to stay up all night and day and then sleeping in the early afternoon, but the cycle begins again.

  • I despise consolation, people staring or noticing me, all noise.

  • I also dislike speaking to people because I'm not sure how to justify what I do.

  • Overly-active imagination. Am constantly imagining people and situations are with me/I'm living, as pure fantasy.

The Case-taking Table

Available here is a table scoring the remedies in two separate case takings. The table is especially useful in my version because the results were separated into mind, body, and modalities. It is to be remembered that generally a remedy with score reasonably in all three categories rather than be bunched only in one. The second case taking was around September 1999 after a number of remedies and a significant symptom change

Obviously more tables shall be added as treatment continues in the future.

The first column is the name of the remedy. The next three columns are from the first case-taking in March 1999, the results are separated into mind, body, modalities - and the next column is a total of the proceeding three. The next three columns, 6, 7, and 8 are from the second case-taking in September, and again are separated into mind, body and modalities. The next column (9) is a total of the preceding three. The last column (10) is a combined total of each total from each case-taking.

The Diary

Transcribed on 25th December 1999 from a health book originally commenced in Goa, India. On the 16th June 1999, 1.46pm. local time.
CAUSTICUM 30c.
Commenced 13th April 1999

NOTE: initially this was taken incorrectly and possible antidoted. No effect.

CAUSTICUM 200c.
Commenced 4th May 1999.

Initially worse, Pain when leaning forward that wasn't there before. Mood improved, especially noticeable in an unusual increase in tidiness generally. The medicine isn't always taken ideally. When the rains arrived in mid-May, everything becomes worse generally.

Early June the medicine was taken correctly and consistently. Moved to Kathmandu (higher altitude). Worsening of all physical symptoms, though since the start of this medicine there's been less clicking generally, esp. at the rib-cage in the centre of the chest.

Caffeine intake was ceased completely on 1st June. 10th June, mild rash on back. Cold with tiredness on the first day, no pain, much mucus, better blowing nose and spitting.

RHUS TOX 200c. Commenced 16th June 1999.
(Mild cold remaining but rash gone).

4th July 1999

I notice today that my ecenzma is completely gone (which I've had on and off for years) though I don't recall exactly when that happened. A couple of years previously I took anti-histamines for a year with no effect. The only possible reason for the new cure is an increase in zinc intake.

Occasionally severe stabs of pain in left hip when walking, esp. when raining, just recently disappearing.

Increased tiredness, even when walking very short distances.

Palpitations, sporadic, esp. in morning with increased weakness/tiredness (earlier symptoms).

Lump in right ear - I've had occasional small painless lumps in my face, usually around the chin-bone, on and off for fifteen tears. There's a small one on the jaw slightly to the right that is now leaving i.e. getting smaller.

The new one is just before the left ear, parallel with the opening. It's been there around five months. Just recently it's increased in size and become painful to touch.

I do seem to be clicking less, generally since I left Goa. The centre of my chest used to click daily, yet now hardly ever does. And my knees click more rarely - possibly being near the sea makes that worse.

Wednesday 4th August 1999.

Rhus Tox was continued approx 15th July 1999, then generally discontinued due to a family visit disrupting routines. Today Rhus Tox 200c. is continued.

Recently, legs seemed weaker than usual in the morning and also clicked more (very slightly).

Right arm weaker with a feeling of dislocation on using it to lift my weight into or out of vehicles. Also right shoulder and centre of chest seem to click more. The weather has improved and general health the same, but with aggravation about 8-2 hours before rainfall.

Saturday 14th August 1999.

Arms feel about the same.

Just over the past couple of days it's been constantly drizzling and I was much worse. Yesterday the pain seemed to be (unusually) in my right hip. It was very painful walking to the restaurant and, also unusually, didn't improve with rest.

It the evening it largely dispersed as the weather improved. Today it's also drizzling but doesn't seem to affect me as much.

For a couple of days before this I had bouts of extreme tiredness, but that's also cleared up.

Recently, I can feel a lump sensation in my throat, very rarely, but it is there. I notice it weekly say.

I couldn't swear it, but the ear lump is either very slightly smaller, or different in some way.

So in summery, worse recently but improving now.

The medicine bottle for Rhus Tox 200c. is broken now, air gets in and the sensation of alcohol when taking has left.

28th August 1999.

About two weeks ago a special offer at the business centre gave a very positive boost to my work. Regardless of the time of retiring at night, I would wake very early, was happy and was working very hard. The weather also began to improve and I began to feel much better physically.

About a week ago the special offer ceased, meaning I had to work less, and caused a general lowering of spirits. Shortly afterwards I picked up diarrhea with pure liquid stools, occasionally light-coloured or foul-smelling, but usually normal other than liquidity. Movements are without pain and unaccompanied by anything else (no contaminants). As well as the special offer ending, there has been other bad luck generally and my mood is one of exasperation and despondency.

NOTE: Rhus Tox 200c. was ceded after regular dosing around 3/4 weeks ago, with generally no effect.

Sunday 5th September 1999.

Stomach problems unchanged. I've found an ayurvedic medicine called Isogbol, which contains large amounts of fibre. After taking it the problem improves somewhat. When I cease taking it, symptoms return exactly the same as previously.

Incidentally, since experiencing the monsoon in Kathmandu, I've come to dislike rainstorms less. They still cause a worsening of physical symptoms - but I often enjoy watching the drizzle, before I always hated it.

Concerning my ear - the lump is about a third the size and slightly flatters, so it looks like that is leaving me too. Shoulders feel a lot better; less pain in a general way. The weather has much improved. Mood is very variable, yesterday very bad, today better.

I've had trouble finding multi-vitamins so I've been taking a Spirulina supplement for about two weeks. That was after the stomach problem began but they don't seem to have made any difference.

Wednesday 8th September 1999.

Recently I stopped taking the Isogbol and the stomach problem returned to the point of complete loss of control, I restarted Isogbol and it abated. Last night I became hungry as I lay in bed as I'd eaten very little. I ate biscuits and beans. In the morning I felt nauseous and I went to the bathroom where I vomited pure air, it seemed like pockets of air must have been trapped in my stomach. They were expelled with a very loud involuntary sound. This has happened occasionally to me now for around six months. Sometimes I lie down but that makes it feel worse. Sometimes normal vomiting follows the expellation of air.

Just below my rib-cage there is a painless lump, and the meeting of the ribs near the appendix also feel corrupted. The lump is about 4cm. Inside the skin.

Sunday 12th September.

Everything is about the same, though now I get occasional shooting pains in my right ear. I play also of music and so it may be nothing.

Stools seem either light coloured or a mixture of light and dark. I'm still taking Isogbol, which might be the cause. Stools also seem more buoyant.

Tuesday 28th September 1999.

Ear pain seems to have gone. Ear lump completely gone.

 Stomach growth the same.

 No other change.

Friday 15th October 1999.

It completely stopped raining about ten days ago and the joint condition improved accordingly.

I stopped Isogbol about a week ago and the symptoms returned, but less severely as originally. It's much better, though returns occasionally. There's still abnormal stomach noise, though mush less.

Next Day.

I recall throughout my life I was always stotic until I was about 20. I had worm type symptoms for a while. That went away but |I was never again static. So one could say that I have chronic stomach/digestive problems.

Thursday 28th October 1999.

About ten days ago after the last entry I had one morning movement followed by about 5cm. of blood. There was also a headache and lethargy for the whole of that day. The symptoms haven't since returned but the stools are still changeable. A few days later I had a gushing stool shortly after drinking possibly adulterated juice. Since my stomach problems started I often vomit if I eat a large amount of food and am generally satiated by less food.

I am now in North India. While travelling there was an unusual but sharp pain like a nail in my right knee.

The pollution here is much worse. Yesterday I was very tired, but I had drunk a lot of iodine. Also yesterday, I developed a sore throat, which is my usual reaction to bad pollution. It's worse on waking, smoking and talking; better drinking, swallowing and spitting.

On the 26th of this month when I flew out I took ACONITE 30c. every five minutes for one hour for flying phobia, with good result.
Monday 1st. November 1999.

Due to the reaction to pollution a new remedy commenced: Nat m. 200C. ON 29TH October 1999. All my luggage was stolen with little psychological shock. There's slightly less mucus, much less pain. Lethargy the same, though sleep is disturbed by travel. Muscular/skeletal about the same.

2nd November 1999.

Yesterday and today I felt like I was in a plane and my ears had popped.
7th November 1999.
Symptom changes in the past couple of days: I ate a reasonable amount of food and afterwards there's like the sensation of a balloon blowing up in my face, like pressure in the cheeks and gums etc. and extreme lethargy. It happened yesterday, but today the pain is so bad I have to take strong pain-killers. Being on the road, I get less than 8 hours sleep. The symptoms seem better after a short nap. There's a general headache also, but the tiredness and face pain are by far the strongest symptoms.

I took lomotil for one day on the 4th when I traveled up here. I've stopped taking Isogbol and the stool seems reasonable, but occasionally there's minor abdominal pain when passing. I had a dream that seemed to relate to love/romance. I'm getting much less nasal mucus now and blow my nose very infrequently, though it's still blocked and I cough a little worse on waking.

Sunday 28th November 1999.

Since that last entry I've traveled north and am stationed for a while in Delhi. Health seemed to improve while I was north. The cold-type symptoms disappeared. Islamic law requires me to be tee-total. It was very cold and I had one day but generally I was in less pain and could walk further. My sleep habits much improved and I tended to wake early each morning. Diet has been very varied and digestion problems are about the same.

Since returning to Delhi the improvements have remained, despite the cold and very uncomfortable sleeping arrangements. The mucus and sleeping pattern problems have returned. I'm spitting and blowing my nose but without other symptoms. I may have caught infection at work, or it could be pollution. I have naps at unexpected times and that seems to right the over-all pattern problem. This morning I lie awake at 4:30am. Which is pretty much what I want. Nat m. 200c. is continuing.

NOTE: I usually take it while working and there's a long gap between eating etc. And this may help matters. Concerning psychology, possibly worse. I notice I do spend more time dwelling on love regrets, but it doesn't seem so much in a healing way at the moment. This morning I strongly craved acidic fruit.

Saturday 11th December 1999

Cold symptoms much improved, though pollution still bad, I must have got used to it. Sometimes I wheeze while breathing and spit a little, but generally I'm much better. There's some strange sensation in the back of my nose/throat/where the two meet. It's a taste like smoking, but an unpleasant, perverted taste, possible caused by smoking itself.

Sunday 20th January 2000

I stayed in Delhi, then went to Bodhgaya in central India. Both places were bitterly cold, also the Delhi bed was extremely hard, though both these factors seemed to have absolutely no bearing on my health what-so-ever.

There was one day at the very start of January that My left shoulder had a terrible pain, so bad I had to stopped moving it, my strongest pain-killers made no difference. It only lasted about ten hours, then I was fine.

I left for Goa in the south. The trip went well, and it was much, much warmer, from uncomfortably cold to very, but comfortably, warm. For the first week I was generally unchanged and OK, then I moved to the state capital and had a single day of pain, a bruised and weak feeling all over, but it left in 24 hours. I recall being in the same place last year and this bruised all over feeling was common so it seems much improved this year. Conditions made worse by being close to the sea is of course characteristic of Nat M.

Then I had a number of symptoms which were repeats of previous symptoms, but less severe, which is of course a good sign in homeopathy, that the disease is working itself out backwards.

First, I had some bout of food poisoning, possibly caused by rotten dairy products. It was almost exactly the same as the earlier poisoning in Kathmandu, with air vomiting etc. but it only lasted a day, it also seemed to improve when I took the Nat M.

Shortly after I developed blisters. I had them last year in the same place which is possibly also thus made worse for being near the sea. Last year they were severe, affected my walk and left a scar that remains to this day. This year they were the same but very minor with no pain or problems.

Then I had the sensation of a lump in the throat return, which I had last year. It was painless both then and now, and is pretty much the same.

During all this time my mood massively improved. I began meditating regularly and felt incredibly optimistic.

But then on the 16th February 2000 The I was sitting outside the business centre in a chair and the pain in my shoulder returned. It was fairly painful, though I managed to get my shopping home. It grew steadily worse throughout the evening. When I retired I lie in bed for around ten minutes and had to arise when I couldn't make the shoulder (left) comfortable, and the pain was unbearable. I took pain-killers and for about 30 minutes had to endure it. When I sat very still all that time it went. I tried to lie down again and after only five minutes the pain returned even more severely, I had to rise. So the symptom is worse in bed. It was possibly the worst pain I've ever been in. I over-dosed on the painkillers, crying. I When I sat very still it again got better after about 30 minutes. After this I had no trouble crying in despair rather than pain; This was the first time I've cried since I became ill and inability to cry is a symptom of Nat M> I worked out it returned with any movement, it also returned if my left forearm was anywhere except continually across my lap, in which case it would heal itself somewhat. This night I slept in the chair.

Next day I was tired. The pain was constant. The only way it would go was if I put my left wrist inside my shirt so it acted as a sling. It was bearable but got much worse when I used it slightly to eat my food. I returned home and fashioned a permanent sling from an unused money-belt, and this was useful. I tried to lie down with the same effect as the night before. I slept in the chair but managed longer periods.

Next day it was a little better and I managed to go to the state capital, though had to use the sling all day. In the evening there was a power-cut all night so it was hot. Obviously my mood was worse. I managed to sleep lying down but only in an exact position on my left right side sot the bad arm is exactly parallel to the bed. Since then I have been able to lie either like this, or on my back (which I never usually sleep on) as long as there is a separate pillow under my left arm, not raising it above the body line but keeping it level. So possibly the pain is worse lying down.

Now it's four days since it began. I'm no longer in constant pain from it. I have a paralising stiffness exactly the same as in my hips, the same sensation, which restricts movement. I can move my wrist outwards about twenty centimeters from my waist, but ten centimeters backwards or forwards.

Saturday 26th February 2000

It's a complete mitacle, but my shoulder has recovered. It's near perfect. Lying on my stomack in bed to read can cause a slight feeling of dislocation but apart from that it's good.

A few things come to mind. One is that I cried in despair at the height of the latest problem, which is a good indication that Nat M is working, but most of the other symptoms are already Nat M. type things. Some books advise a dose not too frequently, so I possibly caused a proving. I had a far more minor type of problem in Delhi but it only lasted a few hours and pain-killers worked, so it didn't get written up. I haven't taken it since this flare up, but may resume a more infrequent dose.

Two quick things. One is that, for a long time I noticed that when either of my arms were above my head there would be a painless click from my shoulder-blades.

The other thing is (if I haven't already written it up) is theres an occasional feeling of squirting water on the left side of my stomach.

Monday 10th April 2000

I gave up smoking about Masrch 5th. Since then I've felt very light headed and my mood is worse.

I have a large amount of small red spots that appeared about twelve days ago. A few on my legs and forearms but generally theyre clustered in a few places, mostly around the joints. The start and strongest concentration was on the outside edge of the little finget on the left hand. Here they were raised and itched, elsewhere they are flat and there's no itch. They are also at the joint of my right little finger, left wrist at the base of the thuimb, left inner-elbow and just recently the forearms generallyy. Togay my hands seem clear of them, it's just left on the arms and legs.

As well as feeling light-headed, hane dixxy periods. . Worse on mioving after a stationary period, esp. moving my head. Recently I turned to speak to someone and ferll to the ground.

More perspiration generally, though it seems hotter.

I'm including below remedies from kent's reperotory to make selecting the next remedy easier. I'm still taking Nat M 200c. very infrequently.

I stayed very depressed, at one point not venturing out of a darkened room for days. Currently living in a city (monsoon time) I have a cold, the most marked symptom is hearing loss, near total left side, so possibly a sinus problem. I began smoking early May, mood improved. Below is a repetory for the latest symptoms.

Thursday 16th November 2000

A long time since Ive written, and generally better. Late may I was travelling and people kept telling me I had severe blackness under my eyes and looked tired. Ive been generally sick a few times but nothing specific. Some time in June a rash returnbed to my arm, itching, that was present when my disease first came on. That cleared up OK. Recently I started using my left leg to go up the stairs for the first time in years. It went OK for a while but I had to stop due to the pain. Also, I had a while where I would wake in great pain in the evening after ascending steep stairs. I notice any depression is always better for sunlight, especially in the morning if I wake early, but less amelorated if Ive been awake all night.

I have to travel soon on a very hard trip and am looking for a low dose remedy to help me when my legs hurt due to being in a cramped bus.

HOMEOPATHY UPDATE

New Remedy

Calc C 200c.

Commenced 5 December 2000 12:36 Nepalese time. Initial changes:

Left hip clicking after normal movement

Slight nausia

Flatulence

Explosive stool

Depression (Though likely envioroment caused)

Very dry skin on hands, hands and forearms have a white fine powder over them.

More frequent stool.

Waking up hot at night

Lump sensation in throat, larger than usual, lower down in throat, better swallowing.

Flem in morning.

Sneezing.

A month later I think I developed a mustard allergy, causing extreme breathlessness and flushing at the face. So severe could barely walk two meters to the bathroom.

Date 26 December 2000

Throat lump worse

Walking in pain more

Date: 4 January 2001

Appetite less in morning

Date: 18 January 2001

Whitish powder on arms worse

Throbbing, flushed face, evening, worse lying down and alcohol.

Date: 3 March 2001

About two weeks ago the pain that paralised my arm last year returned, but no where near as severe, and went after a couple of days when I meditated sending my breath to it.

Occasional heart spasms, like it's violently turning in my chest.

I had a dream and woke up with the intuition that there was something wrong with my heart and I should take cod liver oil.

Generally I'm alot better. I use my left leg on the stairs all the time. My bed's really hard but I seem to cope OK, though I wake up in pain once a night. Often I walk along and don't feel pain at all over short distances. It seems to be going OK now.

Date: 21 June 2001

Have been very well generally up until being here, in Delhi. The right leg is unbelievably strong now and routinely used. However, around seven days ago a new illness was contracted, after being awake all night and having a screaming row with the manager I was forced to change rooms and developed severe fever around ten hours later. It abated but gave way to other longer-lasting symptoms.

Earlier Symptoms

  • Pain moving eyes
  • Pain in face

Current Symptoms

  • Vomiting
  • Loss of Appetite
  • Severe indigestion (worse lying down).
  • Lethargy and slowed feeling in head, like mild diziness.
  • Very dry mouth, rough, dry tongue and throat.
  • Copper/bronze coloured urine
  • Red spots on right hand.
  • Right side generally worse
  • Craves sweet things

Modalities

Worse alcohol

I'm back in Delhi now. Joint wise I've never been better. I arrived back here yestterday after a week long break south and carried a very large pack up steps, many steps, using both legs. After over two years of uselessness on stairs the left leg seems much recovered. However, some dizziness has returned, brief but extremely severe, like the whole world is spinning, and my right ear is permanently popped. Below is some early reperotory.
