1/ All things of which a person is aware take place in the mind, so all you have to look at is the mind
2/ Yoga means union.
3/ If you take 2 gases that react with each other (re-unite with each other) you get heat, light ect Because one finds what one needs (union).
4/ Yoga unites what see’s with what see’s it.
5/ When you see ANY object you only see electrical changes with your brain. also made up of electrical changes.
6/ Everything is sorrow, the cause of sorrow is desire, the desire to unite.
7/ Yoga destroys seperateness which is the root of desire.
8/ Yoga has eight limbs, which are different headings / stages.
9/ Yama means control (Pranayama) control breath.
10/ You only have one job to do so control yourself to do it. Animals evolve specifically for how they need to live, this is yama.
11/ You have to discover your own yama. It’s morals and rules to get rid of everything that stands in your way.
12/ The second limb is Niyama. it means virtue.
13/ Virtue is patience ect.
14/ The supreme virtue is knowing your true will.
15/ Next is asana. to control the body so that it sends no messages to the brain.
16/ To get rid of something you give it rythm, like a lullaby, so it can be forgot.
17/ If you stay in any position long enough you’ll get cramp.
18/ In picking your position make sure that you’re properly balanced, arms are free, breathing is as unrestrained as posible.
19/ What happens is this, you pick a posture and love it. It may move without you knowing it. You must
— 1 —
concentrate so as to keep it perfectly still. Like a strange feeling you forget the body. You’ll want to fidget and cough, all of which must be stopped. If you hold your arm out it will hurt, if you concentrate your mind on something else it will go. Therefore, concentrate on the body itself. soon you’ll be in agony. The worst agony is just before success. One day it will cease totally. All pain will be gone forever. It’s a complete awakening from a nightmare.
20/ Once done, ten minuits in the posture will do you as good as a nights sleep.
21/ Next is pranayama, control of breath.
22/ get a regular rythm, in & out and gradually increase it.
23/ The practices could be breathing as quick and shallow as posible. Anything will produce it’s own results. Proper practice is to hold the breath for as long as posible.
24/ Soon things will start to happen and you must ignore them. The first is sweating. it’s a very strange sweat though. Next is ridgeidity. Body becomes still as a result of a spasm. Next is buchari siddhi. Or jumping around like a frog (Levitation). Next is levitation.
25/ Yoga MUST be done always for a set amount of time, no matter what.
26/ (mantras are a type of pranayama).
27/ Once Pranayama is started nothing must interfere.
28/ four limbs already covered deal with physical yoga excercises
29/ Yod Heh vav Heh is like yoga. Yod (fire represents yogi. water is the object of medatation. Vav, the son is the exalted state of mind produced by this union, (Samhadi). He is the ecstacy.
— 2 —
30/ You have to map out your life before you start. so nothing unexpected can come and intercept you.
31/ Should also do the salutations.
32/ should try and practice devotion.
33/ Also develope the will by cutting yourself.
34/ Whenever a religious person comes near you can discorage them to assist concentration with a downward sweep of the arms and the words Apo Pantos Kakodaimonos. All this will prepare you for real concentration.
35/ Four remaining limbs are Pratyahara, Dharana, ?Dhy Dhyana and Samadhi.
36/ Pratyahara. This is when you introspect and suddenly get something. like concentrating on the nose and deciding you don’t have one.
37/ Dharana is meditation proper. Actual constraint of the mind to one object and one object alone.
38/ Dhyana + samadhi just mean explore the mind.
39/ In Dharana that’s a union of ego and non-ego. + loss of time. All duality is abolished.
40/ Samadhi means together with (Sam) adhi means Lord / Guardian Angel.
41/ Samyama means together control. All minior acts became a complete gesture.
42/ Pratyahara is introspection, Dharana is restraing the mind to a single object.
43/ To start with you don’t have to get so far into asana and only a couple of minuits on a tatwa. The rest is in the equinox.
X ASTRAL PROJECTION.
1/ sit down and look infront of you at some object. Make sure it’s in the line of your vision.
2/ study it and commit every detail to memory. Visualise it exactly as it is eye’s awake / open. Don’t see it in your head, but outside as far away outside as it is. Do for 15 mins. total concentration a day. until perfect. Do it next with a door hopefully see the conect ting. Carry on until it can be done.
3/ soon, on falling asleep or waking up you may find yourself “out” or that you can see through your eye’s. when this happens do 4.
4/ when next out or can see try and move about, but don’t re-internalise it. Try to stand out.
5/ Try seeing objects in unknown rooms, rather infront
— 3 —
of you.
_ X _
MANTRAS
1/ Pick a one or two syllabulled word.
2/ sit down with your legs infront of you, a foot a part and palms on knee’s
3/ Take a deep breath and expell it and as you do so close your eye’s and set relaxed for a minuite.
4/ Chant for 10 to 15 minuites When finished keep your eye’s clossed. Then slowly stretch and wake up.
5/ You should in time feel a weightlessness. when you do visualize imagine your right arm is composed of light cotton ?bolls. Don’t make an effort of it when the feeling comes imagine it’s very light see it attached to a hot air balloon and see it rise. This shows you how easy a levitation will later be. Don’t purposefully move it. let it go by itself.
_ X _
Padmasana is the lotus. It must be mastered. (Put head between ?knees, can head touch floor. hands round)
PRANAYAMA
1/ sit in the lotus. Place right hand on chest and left on stomach.
2/ Breath normally and see which hand moves. If right hand moves there’s lots to do. if your left hand is move to there is tons to do. Ideally only your left hand should move.
3/ Breath in and out with deep pat breaths for 10 – 15 minuits, then you should do it naturally.
4/ Only do above once.
5/ sit down, though not in the lotus, and do relaxation by heaver and warmer. Once you can relax you don’t have to do it continuously
6/ Next time do it in the lotus and notice how the more relaxed you are the deeper you breath.
7/ Plug your left nostril and breath in through your right nostril. Carry on until you have as much air as you can comfortably
— 4 —
hold. Now plug the other nostril and count from one onwards. When you’ve held your breath for as long as you comfortably can, Then exhale through your left nostril. When it’s all gone inhale slowly through your left nostril. Hold again until you reach the number you counted in the first instance. Carry on in a cycle. NEVER gasp for breath either way or you’re doing it wrong. Each time you do it you should be increasing the time you hold your breath in.
Do 5mins Morning, noon, evening and before bed. Should get all benefit in three months.
Don’t eat for a minuite before you start. in an empty stomach.
8/ If you sweat you must rub it in. Then comes a trembling, then jumping in the air, then levitating.
9/ To levitate / use magickal power hold the breath and concentrate the mind.
10/ Try to hold the breath for 45 minuites. set and use a mantra with pranayama – it’s a tireing check write it down. if when ?in ?prac it sounds far away or not here you’ve got it.
11/ Dharana, i.e concentration. you can do internal / external qualities and mental. look at a mirror and your ?reflexion in, as it gets darker it’s working. won’t dark. let it be darkish. You will see in change. This is where you become one with an object.
12/ When a meditator unites with the object tremen-dous power is gained over it.
13/ A yogi would have to be immune to all of the elements. concentrate on fire so that it doesn’t burn you.
14/ To levitate. do the lotus & pranayama & mantra then see this white line the size of a hair coming from your throat. going along the front of your ?crotch up to your third eye and ending at the top of your head. It needs to be very real so you can almost see it. feel energy coming from the upper part of your body. feel the upward direction in it. As you go on it will get stronger and stronger
— 5 —
when it is definately there move the white line starting to swell so the upward energy grows enough to carry you up in the air. Try to actually use to live and you eventually will.
15/ Temporary samahadi can be made permanant by practicing it every day so that it becomes a habit and different concious is held permanantly.
16/ To medatate on the relationship between body and space you can unite with it and fly. Once you fly, will that a magickal wind blow you along to wherever you want to go.
17/ once you can do one of these things it’s easier to do again, like learning to swim.
18/ By medatating on past, present & future you will understand the true nature of time.
19/ By listening to sounds and not interperting what they mean you can understand the cry’s of beasts.
20/ By medatating on your inherited personality you will remember past lives. The occult is usually inherited.
21/ Ask someone a question and try to guess what they will say.
22/ By medatating on friendlyness, compassion and joy you will feel friendly with those who are friendly, compassion for those in pain and and joy for the lucky.
23/ By medatating on the strength of an elephant you can have it.
24/ By medatating on the sun (don’t look at it) you can have the knowledge of other worlds.
25/ By medatating on the moon you can have knowledge of the moon.
26/ By medatating on the pole star you can also know the universe / stars.
27/ By medatating on the solar plexus you can understand / see pranic energy in the body.
28/ By medatating on the pit of the throat you will no longer feel hunger or thirst.
29/ By visualiseing that below as well as the throat there is a tube shaped like a tortoise you will become aware of minuite movements in the
— 6 —
body and ?taught to stay VERY STILL.
30/ ?So you concentrate that you have a third eye you will see a brilliant light. By concentrating on this you will meet those who achieved perfection and passed passed on.
31/ consult intuition ?afterward it will be sharpened.
32/ By concentration of the heart ?centre you’ll know your own mind.
33/ By projecting and entering the mind you can enter anothers body and implant good thoughts.
34/ fire is stomach. By concentrating on it your auro can be seen by anyone.
35/ The elements take ?over by concentrating on them you will use the ?dictarama. By having e.g. you will hear mystical voices.
36/ pick one of the above and stick with it for six months. It will manifest spontaneously. Then try to get it under concious control.
37/ After a while you will want to renounce this new power. Do it, try for the next one, but master the first first.
_ X _
1/ when keeping notes of the experiments you must note the time and place, weather, or anything that may have affected the results.
2/ when doing asana don’t wear anything that interferes with your posture.
3/ when things happen while you are doing asana you must carefully describe them.
4/ you must learn to sit for an hour with a book on your head. when you are perfectly steady for the whole time you can go into pranayama.
_ X _
PRANAYAMA.
1/ sit in position and close your right nostril and breath in / out for 20 seconds while your watch makes it. Breath in through the same nostril for 10 seconds. Changing hands and nostrils. Continue for one hour.
2/ When this is easy increase to 30 and 15 seconds.
3/ When this is easy for 1.hour breath in for 40 and out for 20. Do examination.
4/ Never overstrain yourself and never gasp for breath. Try for depth, fulness and regularity. Carefully record any strange happenings.
— 7 —
DHARANA
1/ Think of one simple imagined object first. ie tattwas.
2/ Go on to simple combinations of the elements.
3/ Go on to simple moving objects. eg a spinning wheel, pendulum. Avoid living objects
4/ Go on to combinations of moving objects. eg a piston moving while a whole spinning.
5/ The mind must be absolutely concentrated and the movements must be regular.
6/ Note how long you can do it and for the object to do things you didn’t tell it to.
7/ Imagine a person you know and respect.
8/ Try other senses, like the smell of a rose or the ticking of a clock ect.
9/ shut out all thoughts.
_ X _
Discover physical limitations.
_ X _
1/ Investigate the following statements.
A/ some thoughts make you breath through one nostril, while others through another.
b/ Different actions do the same.
c/ some actions make you breath equally.
Also d/ Right nostril breath causes certain actions.
A/ some actions make you breath right and some left and if you only breath through one nostril it induces the certain actions.
b/ same for both nostrils at once.
c/ The degree of mental and physical activity depends on how far your breath can be felt from your face.
2/ concentrate on ordinary breathing and say, the breath flows in, the breath flows out. Record all of above. follow up any results
3/ carry on pranayama GRADUALLY, up to 64 seconds.
4/ if a strange sweat occurs, rub it into your body. As you carry on this tendency to sweat will stop and your body become rigid. Describe this in your notes as well as you can.
5/ This will continue to involve spasmodic movements. The body will hop from place to place.
— 8 —
6/ Now you can measure better than a second to an hour.
7/ further investigate any other mental results which occur.
8/ Deep breath (pranayama) as you repeat a mantra. Then do pranayama but without closing the nostrils. carry on holding breath in ?q.
9/ compare closing the nostrils and using the mantra, gradually increasing as before.
10/ You do the above when walking. breath in for 4, out for 4 ect. one count for each step.
11/ Quicken the mantra and pace until it becomes a dance.
12/ Practice mental concentration during the dance and see if the dance becomes independent of the will. See if the sweating and levitation occur. other mental results occur.
13/ When breathing out every last bit of air should go. All the stomach muscle should be fully employed. Pushing the arms into the side and leaning down.
14/ In a proper inhalation all possible air should be drawn into the lungs.
15/ In holding the breath the body should be perfectly still. All this should bring on profuse sweating.
16/ Breath as shallowly and quickly as possible, breathing only with the muscles of the throat. You can also concentrate on the neck chakra while doing it.
17/ next breath as deeply and rapidly as possible.
18/ next breath then suddenly stop until you faint or get samadhi.
19/ Try other things but hold breath in the act rather than on the ?IN.
20/ when holding breath out, put tongue out, head forwards inwards and upwards and aspire towards holy guardian angel.
_ X _
UNITING SELF TO A DIETY.
1/ Choosing a diety. One that partakes in love is usually best.
— 9 —
2/ Make sure that you have some symbolic representation that your diety is only a part of God.
3/ Make sure your shrine is hidden and spacious.
4/ let there be an image of the diety.
5/ Use 777 to make sure you have the correct ornaments. Also make talismans.
6/ Write an invoucation to the diety in three parts.
1, slave to lord / ?oath / child to parent / friend to friend / brother to brother / friend to friend / lover to mistriss. THESE ARE awe / fealty / dependance / adoration / confidence / comradeship / passion.
7/ Make a ritual of worship and act it out daily. It ect
8/ Must be worshipped at the same time and let your sleep be broken once to worship it.
9/ Make sure the incence is sympathetic.
10/ Let each worry be so practiced it is a part of your being.
11/ Like a lake to please your diety. so do it by swimming go swimming ect.

13/ Everything you use to worship your diety must be consencrated and not used for ?out else.
14/ Perform the libation also in your mind.
15/ Whenever you do anything, do it for the diety e.g. I eat this food in honor of ___ ect.
16/ Meditate on all love that is your shrined part.
17/ Read love story’s, classical or otherwise so you read it about it in your mind, with you as one character and your diety as the other
18/ As each thing happens in the story see yourself say how shallow is this love compared to me and my diety.
19/ Imagine the diety has appeared and converse with it.
20/ Imagine think of a short sentence that hails your diety and repeat it as a mantra all day & night.
21/ One day you will be struck dumb by a yearning. It will hurt. but it will also ?out – ache the loss. just continue with the method.
22/ Sometime a pain will be so great it will be worse than death. Remember body over
— 10 —
did loose it can be recovered gloriously. It will be very hard, but it must be endured. You can give up, but you will give up everything you have ever attained. It is the utmost form of cowardice.
23/ lots of things will tempt you away. Carry on no matter what. or you will lose everything.
24/ You may almost be convinced to do another practice by the worried about your health. just carry on. even if you see visions.
25/ Comfort rest to fool yourself that you’ve attained unity when you haven’t and to be drowned in the poole of sorrows. use the power of silence against the decit, for it has clever arguments.
26/ One day you will be totally crystalized into blood red unity with the diety. It will exceed all pleasure you have ever known.
28/ when you make your talisman take it to your diety and make it imbue it – all day, then burn it.
29/ Now that your diety is really God for it will be apparent by the demand.
30/ while doing this all, defend the four formula’s / formula is the diety.
_ X _
CONTROL OF THOUGHT.
1/ Avoid useing a common phrase like and or but ect.

Mood low. 2:1
I started yoga a couple of days ago now. At the moment I’m just doing asana. I’ve chose the lotus position. I found it difficult to get into, but once there I firstely held for 30 seconds. Then 2:30. Then easily 10 minuites. I just did it today and found it painful to get into. Then it stayed painful. I only managed three minuites. I think my programme will be as follows. Firstly I’ll master asana for an hour. Then I’ll continue with pranayama and carry on until I get definate results. Once this is done I’ll use astral projection as my first dharana/yama for 1 hour, then continue until mastered, then go onto other samadhi’s. To also prepare I’ve cut down my eating to one meal a day, being supplemented by slimming pills (much to the mirth of the shop assistant who served me!), and I hope to be living on them alone by saturday / friday. It’s the same with smoking, I’ve also bought pills to help me give up there and I hope to have totally given up around the time I’ve totally given up food (friday/saturday).
Date: Wednesday 14th February 1991.
Mood same.
I’ll ask the I-Ching what I should be doing.
Q, What will be the result if I for now, just continue asana and try to etheric project for 1 hour every day?
[Diagram: Two I Ching hexagrams. The first, labeled “41”, contains a broken line with a circle in the middle among other solid and broken lines. The second, labeled “27”, consists of a solid line at the top and bottom with four broken lines in between. Text beside them reads: If there be sincearity in this method of divination, there will be great good fortune.]
Freedom from error. Advantageous in every movement that shall be made. The superior man restrains his wrath and represses his desires.
It will be advantageous for him to maintain a firm correctness and that action on his part is evil. with firm correctness there will be good fortune. we must look at what we are seeking to nourish and by the exerciseing of our thoughts, seek proper alimant.
I think yesterday asana may have been hard because I used cushions rather than : something hard. Today I’ll
— 12 —
use just floorboards, and from now on, until I’ve mastered it.
Asana 15 minuites. Back hurt for the first time. Quite painful getting out of position.
I’ve thought about astral projection and I’ve heard that the astral body is loose before sleep and after it. so I’ll attempt etheric projection while falling asleep.
Date: Wednesday Thursday 14th February 1991
Mood O.K. 5:0
slept out all night. I’ve completely failed on the give-up-smoking AND the lotus. Again I could only hold for 30 seconds! sometimes it’s so easy, others so hard. I think I’ll use the position of ?a for when watching T.V. ect and for now do asana for 1 hr with a crowley position. I’m smoking – normal now, but I will space cigaretes out by an hour and then gradually increase the space between them.
Date: Friday 15th February 1991.
I did the etheric projection last night but found it impossible to sleep on my back. I think I’ll have to do etheric projection in the day every day. Asana every day. stick to the diet. cut down smoking. carry on lucid dreaming and see what oliver fox say’s about it and possibly try it when it comes. I think there’s no way to cut down in the time it will take me I’ll just buckle down and get on with it.
Asana 30m. Egyptian position. At the same time I did the astral vision excersise for about ten minuites. I could definately see the carpet, but couldn’t make out my legs/hands. Through the blackness of my eyelids I could start to make it out. I think that’s how it’s done. I’ll need to do further tests to be sure.
Etheric Projection 24m. 17s.
Very good. I did as usual but I really tried to see the objects although they were there infront of me. so I could reach out and touch them. Then I visualized them, looked into the blackness behind my eyelid’s and tried to see, really feeling that I was there. At the tenth object I came close.
— 13 —
it like floating infront of me. I’m sure this is
how it’s supposed to be done. It just feels so right.
sometimes everything went bright. No-wonder I never got
anywhere. Brilliant. Theoretically I’ll continue and the
flashes come with practice) should get longer until
they’re permanent and clear.
By way of co-incedance the perfume that I percieved
the orgiginal astral projection book with and I’m
going to use to assist projection / lucid dreaming.
Date: Sunday the 16th February 1991.
Mood : Normal 5:0.
I forgot to say yesterday that when I did the
etheric projection I felt a pressure on my
forehead.
Last night when I went to bed I saw a flashing
white light beneath my eyelid’s. It was was
definately not anything external. I’m certainly on
the right track.
Date: Monday 18th February 1991
Mood O.K 5:1.
Astral projection 15 minuites 0 seconds. The Astral
Projection is much harder, but a million percent more
effective now. Because I’ve had a massive
row with Geoff I’ve missed two asanas and
one astral projection, but I’ll get in a regular
course as soon as possible. The day I tried asana
/ projection + 2 Astral visions I was falling asleep
and I saw as clear as anything the table downstair’s
as though I was stood infront of it. DEFINATE
IMPROVEMENT. I’ll definately do asana tomorrow,
but I don’t know if I’ll be alone long enough
to do astral vision.
Date: Thursday 21st February 1991.
I’m very sorry but I haven’t done anything since
Monday Mainly because of work and the Jobclub.
Astral projection. 10 mins. I can definately hold
concious out longer now and I felt
desorientated as though I was moving after a
couple of minuites. The trick is to visualize
what’s infront of your etheric body so you
could reach out and touch it. Not to see it
in your head, but really out infront of
you. conciousness keeps flicking back,
but once it seems as though you’re manipulateing
what everything infront of the physical.
— 14 —
Date: Friday 22nd February 1991.
Didn’t do astral projection because I went to bed at
4:30!
Asana 10 minuites the astral vision 10 minuites. Some
progress being made.
Date: Saturday 23rd February 1991.
Mood 5:2.
Asana – missed. Bed early.
Astral projection 15 minuites.
Did it early evening when Ann went out.
It takes a while to actually feel there, then
you do. for a little while I was dis-
orientated, then I lost my concentration.
while doing it I’m overcome by a general
numbness. I kind of see myself in a
certain place, then try to see through my
astral eye’s, then really feel as though
I’m in that place.
Date: Sunday 24th February 1991
Did Nothing, had to get up early for Jason.
Date: Monday 25th February 1991.
Mood 6:3.
I forgot to say that last time I did astral
projection I clossed my eye’s and saw a flashing
light.
Astral Projection 18m 47s.
Mind not too good when I did it but It went O.K.
I was distracted for a while by a band
singing outside. After a while I felt quite there
and sort of I could hold it quite well.
I saw a very slight flashing for a little
while but it went away. Little bit
frustrated with it now. I do think I’m
making progress though.
Date: Tuesday 26th February 1991.
Mood 4:4.
Astral projection 14 mins.
Excellent. Only did the first object, but
was there almost straight away. I was
interupted by a woman outside, but
apart from that it was very good. (Geoff’s
just come in). After a while I saw a flashing
light and (again) and out of that I started
to see the window sill. when I came
— 15 —
back I could still see it a bit. but I’m
fairly certain that that’s how it works.
The flashing light must be astral vision
starting up. The light is possibly astral
light that I’m begining to see. This will
then be formed by what I want to see.
(by the way, I’m not useing the body of light)
Date: Wednesday 27th February 1991.
Mood 4:3.
I did Astral projection ( 7m. 28s) early but
Geoff came home early. Depending on when
they go out, I’ll try again later.
Astral projection. 20 minuites. Mood 3:4.
Bit cut up about Geoff. Flashing light slightly
only did 1st object. Not much.
DID I mention before when I’ve done it I’ve often felt
a pressure in my spine (solar plexus area)?
Date: Thursday 28th February 1991.
Mood 6:2.
I think I’d better do all the objects from now on.
Astral Projection. 15m 55s.
It took a long time to actually feel there, it
wasn’t until the 3rd object I managed it. Once
I did get it though, I could hold it quite
easily. I think today was progress.
Date. Friday 1st March 1991
Astral Projection 17m 20s Approx.
felt “there” quite quickly. It’s done by visualizeing
the object infront of you, then becoming aware
of the rest of the room, kind of feeling
yourself there. imagine how it feels to stand there,
then see the object infront of you. It was hard
with the first object. With the second one I got
it. when I got to the third it was easy
to get and hold. It always seems easyist
at the third, I think it’s because I’m
so far from my body that I can forget
about it. I didn’t actually try to see the
object in the blackness of my eyelid’s
this time. I just visualized it infront of
— 16 —
me, Felt “there”, realised that my conciousness was there
and I tried to see the object. I think if you look into the blackness
it makes you aware of the physical. If you
visual just looking at your eyelid’s therefore
actually see and sence the object really infront
of you, you become aware of it, how it
would feel size direction and feel really there.
I’m seeing a growing sence of really being there.
Progress.

came over with a heavy feeling quite early. I
no longer try to see the image through
the blackness. I understand what the
occult says now about when you start you’re
already projecting. when you actually feel
“there” and visualize the things actually out
infront of you. You really are there, it’s just a
matter of seeing it.
Date: 3rd March Astral projection 18m 46s.
felt there on and off but fairly quickly lost
it again a bit toward the end. Average

Astral Projection 19 m 41s
Took a while to feel there, but once done
it seemed be held towards the end
without much effort.
Date: 5th March 1991. (Tuesday).
Astral Projection 13m 12s
interupted by what I thought was Geoff
coming home but it was next door.
Took ages to the first object to really
feel there, then it was quite easy to feel “there”.
Arms became numb as usual. felt a pressure
under my chin. Held the perception quite
well. Had lucid dream yesterday (I think it
was yesterday). Progress

Held concentration quite well. A kind of
light lit up behind my eye’s. usual
numbness. I think it’s a bad time generally
because I keep getting rejection letters, Paul
is late, generally feel bad. perhaps it’ll pick
up soon.

Astral projection 19m 38s.
Quite hard to feel actually there.
time went quite quickly. Not paticually
good attempt. I may try to generally move
my conciousness to other parts of my
body and outwards generally to see if it
will help.
Date: Saturday 9th March 1991.
Astral projection 16m 08s.
Again took a while to feel there but once
done it was held quite well. Mind
wandered on parts quite a few times.
After a while at the third object I
actually felt that I was moving.
I think progress.
Date: Sunday 10th March 1991.
Astral Projection. 13m 01s.
This one was much better. I didn’t do
the 1st and 2nd objects, but went
straight onto the fourth third. I felt the
movement as before. Took (again) a while
to feel there, once I did and made the effort
to really “see” the object infront of me, I
could kind of almost see it but it’s
almost impossible to describe how. The
visualization was so real I could
almost see it. I’m sorry, but I can’t
think of better words to describe it.
IT’S ALL A MATTER OF REALLY FEELING THERE
AND TECHNIQUE.

I think I’ve definately got the hang now.
I can’t really explain it as anything other

Handwriting Note:
The author’s phonetic and idiosyncratic spelling continues unabated (“incedance”, “percieved”, “orgiginal”, “minuites”, “desorientated”, “manipulateing”, “clossed”, “interupted”, “begining”, “useing”, “visualizeing”, “easyist”, “conciousness”, “sence”, “paticually”). Apostrophe abuse is remarkably consistent on regular plurals (e.g., “eyelid’s”, “downstair’s”, “eye’s”). The “S Rule” operates heavily—words like “sometimes”, “should”, “straight”, “see”, and “starting” begin sentences or standalone clauses but remain in the oversized lowercase form, thus transcribed in lowercase according to the paleographic standard. Interestingly, a date logic error occurs on Page 17 where “4th March 1991” is designated as (?Tuesday), which conflicts with the next entry for the 5th also being marked “(Tuesday)”. The “4” retains its highly distinctive open-top form in all temporal and numerical notations.
than I’ve said before, but it is definately
real. I feel I’m there and visualize the
object infront of me, but I try to “feel”
and visualize its shape out infront of me
and can now hold it as clearly as
possible.
Date: Tuesday March 12th 1991.
Astral projection 17m 30s.
Excellent attempt. Took a few minuites to
feel there as usual, but once achieved
I could hold it quite well. I made
no attempt to peer to the blackness of my
eyelids, I just visualized exactly the
object infront of me. After a while I felt
more there than I’d ever done. By
the time I got back to my body
it was going back I felt much
more “there” (coming up the stairs) than
in my physical body. I’ve just bought
a new book about astral projection
and my increased interest may have
helped, but I think it’s probably
just the result of constant practice.
Date: Wednesday March 13th 1991.
Astral projection. 15m 50s.
This one was brilliant. I couldn’t do it
until night time because Louise stayed
in on her own all night. I did it as
usual and I felt there very quickly. I went
straight to the third object straight
away and visualized. I felt really there,
and then my visualization “came alive”
if you understand what I mean.
Instead of visualizing it, it was really
there and I felt really there. It’s hard
to explain, but I know what I
mean! When I preformed the experiment
I was very tired and I relaxed before I did
it which may it helped, also it was
pitch black where my body was.

bad. After a while I felt really there,
but went blank after a while.
concentrated again and visualized
the shape really clearly and felt very there,
but couldn’t actually “see” it. I think
I’ll start trying to lucid dream then project
etherically as soon as I wake up.
Date: Thursday 15th March 1991.
Astral Projection 15m 02s.
Much better again. I felt “there” much
quicker and more realistically. I saw
the shape there but only just through
the blackness and it wasn’t as vivid
as wednesdays, it was dark but I
wasn’t very tired so it proves I can do it
at normal times. I think I’ve pinned
down the process. I look outwards and
visualize then try to SEE rather than
visualize what I am Visualising, if you
see what I mean.
Date: Friday 16th March 1991.
Astral Projection 13m 24s.
Had a massive row with Ann which
means my mood was quite affected by the
time I did it. I felt there near
enough straight away but I soon
lost concentration. when I regained it
I saw the wall & mirror but then
ended it as my heart wasn’t in it. It’s
a new moon so I don’t know if that’s
anything to do with it.
I’ve been thinking about the new realisation
again and I’m absolutely certain that
I’m correct. If I use my new
method to gain clairvoyance then
I learn to to see astral images while
in my body. If by the same
— 20 —
techniques I can see something
in another room I am obviously
seeing the astral / etheric counter-
part. therefore when I can see & hold
that image clearly I will be really
there. whenever I do it now I can never
always “see” it now rather than just
visualize it so it is started, and only can,
continue with practice.
THEORY
I’ve been trying to think out the mechanics
of the astral plane.
many people have met up on the astral plane
and sometimes in an recognised place but with
distortions in the scenery. This apparently
disproves the objectivity of the plane. It could
just as easily show a subjective world
with telepathy between two people
also in operation. During attempts
I often feel a pulseing in my spine at the
approx position of the solar cord. This could
possibly be something of the
operation of the silver cord. Also during
attempts a flashing white light is often seen,
this could possibly be something to do
with astral light and the beginings of
astral vision.
I think some kind of experimentation is going
to have to be done with sleep / deep
relaxation. Often when I am very tired /
falling asleep it’s much, much easier
to very clearly see an object clairvoyantly.
if the sub-concious precieves the astral
plane then to project you have to directly
percieve it. During sleep it is seen in
dreams when the sub-concious is
asleep. In deep relaxation the concious
is closer to the sub-concious, therefore
assisting in the observation of astral
images.

Took me a while to settle into it but
once there it was held quite well.
I saw the objects much quicker this
time. I could hold the objects a little
better today (a triangle) as I seem to
have acquired the knack. Progress.

went down town this morning and did it
when Ann got back. went out. Not too
good today. concentration & Visualization
not to great. Did see much except the top of
the mirror for an instant. Never Mind.

Astral projection. 13m 08s.
Took me a long while to get into it and
feel “there” but when I did it was well
held for a little while, then I came back,
but I felt there by just visualizing things out
harder than I had been, but with a purely
mental effort I tried to see things.
Not brilliant.
Date: Thursday 21st March 1991
Astral projection 18m 13s.
I did all 6 objects today and it was
much better. I only lost my concentrate-
ion for a little while at the third, but I
felt really there. I tried to be aware
of my etheric body and feel myself
moving with it. Also I tried to be aware
of the whole room rather than
just concentrating on a paticular object
although I did that aswell. while moving
about and not so bored staring at
one object. I saw the whole room fairly
well. It’s not so much seeing in the
blackness of my eyelids more than
really feeling there and my visualizations
becoming more lucid.
I’m definately going to try something
— 22 —
with dreams now. The trouble is
whenever I try it’s really hard to
concentrate and not let my mind
wander. I have a number of ideas
& I’ll try each one for two weeks
To help me keep my concentration I have
a large, heavy dragon bangal which I’ll
wear in bed.
As I fall asleep I’ll walk round the room /
house and try to project as I fall
asleep. when I wake up I’ll try again
out of bed and fly round the
house. I’ll mark the attempts ?Lucid I lucid
with my sleeping patterns recently so we’ll
see how it goes.

LUCID DREAMING A1.
Wore the bangle in bed and although
it didn’t hold my attention constantly
it did occasionally make me think of
the task in hand. I was asleep
before I made the attempt to come out
of my body. when I woke up I’d had
a paticually vivid dream. I remembered
to rise in the air but I’d been
awake a few seconds first.
Not bad attempt. 3/10.
Astral projection (forgot to set clock)
moved about alot today and didn’t
spend too long in any place. Saw all
quite well but was hungry so I
didn’t stay out too long. Not too bad.

had a little alcohol before I went
to bed. Again I remembered to
put the bangle on but I fell
asleep before I tried to come
out. it also again drew my attention
to the task at hand. I had
another vivid dream which is almost

certainly a result of the bangle. I suppose that’s some kind of progress. In the morning I’d been awake a fair while until I tried to rise, not too bad. Apart from a vivid dream, nothing. 3/10.
Astral projection. 20m 15s.
concentration quite bad esp. to start, but once got hold quite well. Not bad attempt all in all.
Date: Sunday 24th March 1991.
Lucid dreaming A3.
Because I was up late Ann was up before I went to sleep so there was a charging elephant in the kitchen directly below me. Exactly the same as yesterday and the same result except the dream was less vivid. I’d been awake a fair while until I tried to rise. Tommorow I have to set the alarm to get up early so I don’t know if it’ll work at all.
Astral Projection. 14m 25s.
Not bad attempt. felt very much there. After a while I felt numb, as I always do, but this time I moved to scratch my nose and although the numbness went it didn’t seem to affect the feeling (which was strong & well held) of being there. This leads me to believe that it should be possible to hold a such concentration while falling asleep and project while falling sleep. All objects, not bad.
Date: Monday 25th March 1991.
Lucid dreaming A4.
I went to bed and remembered to come out, but because I’d slept so long the night before I couldn’t sleep. but stayed up for ages then went to bed with no alarm or bangle. I did remember a through the night though fairly vivid.
Astral projection 9m 37s.
Heart wasn’t really in it today, though not too bad. felt quite out and found it easier to feel that u see things while walking rather than when staring stationary.
Revised Plan. Next time I sleep I think I’ll set my alarm for 61/2 hrs after I sleep. This way if I lose concentration in the sleep I get a second chance in the morning making three full attempts be per sleep session.
Date: ?Tuesday ?27th March 1991.
Lucid dreaming A5.
Had a massive row with Ann so I couldn’t do anything as she deliberately made noise to annoy me. While falling asleep I did make an attempt for a few seconds and because I was close to sleep it did seem very good. I think if I can ever remember to do it when very tired it will work as I’ll be close to trance state. (I did even remember a dream today though).
Astral Projection 11m 26s.
Bit better today, felt “there” quite easily and held fairly well. stuff seen but only for a few seconds. Halfway through the attempt I opened my eye’s (purposefully) and although back in the room I could still hold the image of downwards and feet there. In the book it say’s that the system I’m useing can be even used when you get up and walking about. It may be worth experimenting to see if I can stand my walking about “there” while moving about awake. I could phosible improve my skills at that and permanently be “out” then, also it would help doing it while I’m falling asleep, which I haven’t managed once yet.
Date: Wednesday ?28th March 1991
Lucid dreaming A6.
I actually held conciousness out while I fell asleep. At some point I fell asleep without occurrance. Vividly remember one dream and when the alarm woke me up I attempt it before it happened. I’m not sure what kind of result this is. I think it’s a fair amount of progress.
Astral projection. 10m 07s.
Very good indeed today. I didn’t concentrate too much on specific objects, as I can find to pick out the layout of the room better. when I got to the picture I could even clearly see when the case meets the wall. Good Progress Made.
Date: Friday 29th March 1991
lost a day due to irregular sleeping patterns, but note I didn’t miss a session.
Lucid dreaming A7.
I managed to hold again last night, even though it didn’t trigger a concious projection. I remembered my dream, but not straight away, and not paticually vivid, it may be helping my projection generally though because my other attempts seem to be getting more vivid. Also last night I went to bed early evening while it was still light. Geoff came in and pratted about downstairs so I went to sleep in Ann’s bedroom. occasionally, but with increasing lenth, I became VERY much “there”. if you know what I mean. There were times when I completely lost sensation of my physical body and felt more “out” than I’ve ever done. I’m absolutely certain that this is helping so as planned I’ll continue for another seven attempts.
Date: Saturday 30th March 1991.
Lucid dreaming A8.
After the good attempt of yesterday I’m affraid I fell asleep before I tried to get out. I think if I many have found it harder as it was dark and there wouldn’t have been much to visualize. still, not too bad an attempt. My alarm woke me and I was wide awake. I did try to get out because I thought I’d stay awake but I fell sleep. (how silly). I had a false awakening where I woke up and thought I’d write my dreams down, but hadn’t when I looked at my pad.
By the way. I forgot to enter yesterdays astral projection at 9m 14s. It is terrible discipline to forget, but I did I’m affraid. As I remember it was very good indeed and at one point I could almost see properly. or something.
(This shows the importance of immediate diary entrys).
Date: Sunday 31st March 1991
Lucid dreaming A9
Once again I fell asleep before I came out. That’s not good at all. I did try to rise when I first woke up, but I was wide awake by then. I also didn’t set my alarm. Not good. I have to get up early tomorrow so I can’t really try the falling asleep one. Please note that yesterday Geoff wasn’t in all day so sat relaxing for him and didn’t get astral projection done.
Astral projection 11m 14s.
Good attempt, though concentration could have been better. Felt much more “there” / out than usual. I’m fairly sure it’s because of doing it when I’m falling asleep. I must remember tonight AND in the future it may be best to come out as soon as I’m in bed, then slowly pull all my conciousness into the etheric body. Progress has been made. Incidentally, the L.B.R.P is well connected to all this, though this will be recorded later.
Date: Monday 1st April 1991 (april fools today)
Lucid Dreaming A9.
Thankfully I managed it last night, it’s mostly a matter of will power. I again remembered a long and complete dream and they do seem more
vivid! I think tonight when I’m out I’ll keep on repeating to myself that I’m dreaming and will remember the dream and then see what happens.
Astral projection. 10m 30s
It’s definately easier to hold the conciousness out of the body now. though only as long as my attention holds. which isn’t bad over all. I felt a feeling on my forehead and had the usual numbness. some progress.
Date: Tuesday 2nd April 1991
Lucid dreaming. A10
Held conciousness out as I fell asleep and also reminded myself I was about to dream. Woke up awake, but forgot to get straight up so I couldn’t record my dream. I don’t think I really tried to comprehend that I would soon be dreaming though. Good.
Astral projection. 13m 04s.
concentration not good to start with. Got into it after a while though. Didn’t feel too numb and sometimes felt although I was moving inside my body. which I’ve felt a few times before I’ve fallen asleep. Also last night while I’d just got into bed I felt as though my arm wasn’t where it really was, if you see what I mean. Not bad.
Date: Wednesday 3rd April 1991
Lucid Dreaming A11.
Ann came back and kept banging the doors so I’m affraid I didn’t actually do it. My dream was less well remembered, possibly as a result.
Astral projection 11m 14s
Not too bad. Held concentration fairly well and felt quite “there”. Average attempt. I felt the slight moving inside again.

Date: Thursday 4th April 1991.
Lucid dreaming A12.
Because I did have to get up early again I didn’t do it, but tonight there’s no morning call so I’ll do it then. Especially good since I don’t have to sign till the 15th April.
I couldn’t do Astral projection because of time / too upset.
Date: Friday 5th April 1991.
Lucid Dreaming A13.
I didn’t do it tonight either I’m affraid because of a row but I did dream I astrally project_?ed_ from the sofa, but when I looked around my body wasn’t there.
Astral Projection 15m 47s.
Not bad at all. At the second object I felt as though I was coming out. It seemed as if I loosened up inside and started to move. Also I saw the edge of the T.V + the wall quite clearly. At one point I could see the ceiling below without looking it at all. I was very tired at the time and as usual, this helped.
Date: Saturday 6th April 1991
Lucid Dreaming A14.
I did it to start with, but then came back and fell asleep because Ann got up early. Not too good. Mind you, in my dream I had the slight feeling that I was dreaming. I forgot to say that when I was in bed before I started to exercise I saw a VERY bright flash of golden light, but only for an instant. Not too bad.
— 30 —
Astral Projection 15m 09s.
Not bad. concentration Average.
Felt quite there, again, by seeing the whole room. Average attempt. felt quite out, but more a general numbness than actual movement. This one wasn’t as good as yesterdays because I wasn’t so tired. If relaxation has such a link then progress should be put on to projection when I’m asleep (or falling asleep) and affirming that I will remember everything that happens. Try again tonight.
Date: Sunday 7th April 1991.
Lucid Dreaming A15.
I don’t believe it. I didn’t do it again. mind you, I did have a happening. First of all I heard Ann up and about in two places, in the bedroom and downstair’s in the kitchen. Next I saw downstair’s through my eyelid’s. but nothing like I’ve seen before, it was just as colourfull as with my eye’s open, except the light’s was on and in reality they would have been shut off. Also I didn’t look “out” I just saw the vision inside. I think this means I should look “out” when I try to to see, and soon it’ll happen. I’ll have to see.
Astral Projection 8m 57s.

Average to begin with and then it picked up and I felt quite there, which was due to me realising that I was visualizing it and not out. Progress. As long as my giro comes tomorrow I’ll probably send off for a subliminal

tape for lucid dreaming to see if that helps. When I have the subliminal AND the astral projection I can play them simultaneously when I go to sleep to see if they work. Definately something to look forward to.
Date: Wednesday 17th April 1991.
Lucid dreaming A23.
Did the exersise well and then had to get up to go to the toilet a few times. continued afterwards and and actually fell asleep doing the exersise. I had small recollection of one non lucid dream.
Astral projection 8m 44s.
This one was much better. I concentrated again on visualizing out and also feeling much more in another body. I kept reaching out to touch things infront of me and feeling the carpet underneath my feet. It was quite a strange feeling really. I was aware of my physical body lieing on the bed, but also kind of felt my way into the other one and felt my limbs, torso and in kind of in two places at once. There’s definately room for improvement here. Also I’m not really getting anywhere with the lucid dreaming now so I’ll try and remember to be aware I’m falling asleep by useing the mantra becoming aware, and try to be aware I dream when I dream. I’ll do this in conjunction with the subliminal coming out. If not A40 I’ve still not done it I’ll set my alarm clock early and just use the mantra then, without coming out.

Date: Saturday 27th April.
Astral projection missed. Sorry, not a bright day!
Date: Sunday 28th April 1991.
Astral projection. only few minutes
Just done for a while before I went to bed.
Date: Monday 29th April 1991.
Astral projection 4m 10s.
Not bad, but I needed to go toilet badly. I think the best method is to visualize the body out infront of you at the spot then try to see from it’s eye’s / feels it’s arms ect. funnily enough now I’ve worked that out for myself I think that’s what the book said.
Date: Tuesday 30th April 1991.
Astral Projection. 10m 23s.
Not bad at all. Yasmin came in just after I did it so I couldn’t write it up straight away. I did as before and visualized the body. then felt myself into it. Instead of seeing myself standing before the objects and
— 36 —
being transparent I actually see myself standing there as in flesh. With the body and when, for example, I looked down to see my foot, I saw the astral one and the floor below it, but I also felt the foot in bed with the cover below it. I found this to be counter-acted by feeling myself into the flesh body (astral) though as though it was flesh) and being aware of the physical downstairs. I fell into the body and tried to feel the floor under my feet and the objects around of me and held awareness of the physical upstairs. This had the effect of me slowly losing awareness of the physical and gradually just trying to be “in” the etheric / astral and see through it’s eye’s. There’s definately improvement and development to be done here.
Theory
The other dreamwork I did was a non plus so I intend to try something different now. When I go to bed I will set my alarm to wake me up 6 hrs. later. This gives me 1 hr. to fall asleep and 5 hrs. sleep until I’m awake. On the premise that I usually sleep 8 hrs a night I’ll still have 3 hrs of sleep left. when I turn off the alarm and fall asleep I’ll try to re-enter a dream /
— 37 —
create one in which I become aware that I’m dreaming. As I fall asleep for the first time I’ll visualize myself turning off the alarm and then slipping back into a dream to condition my mind. I’ll do that for tonight and record the result tomorrow.
Date: Wednesday 1st May 1991.
Lucid dreaming B1.
I woke up today and the alarm was turned off, but I don’t remember doing it. I did have a projection related dream though. I think didn’t do the visualization before I fell asleep either. Tonight I’ll set the alarm 7hrs from when I go to bed.
Date: Astral Projection 14m 17s.
Very good. I visualized the body and saw from it’s eye’s / felt into it, being aware of the physical upstairs. I realized I can only hold complete concious there with awareness of the body for a few seconds before I either am back at the body or aware of both. I’m sure development of this leads to full projection and there’s much work to be done. I’m going to bed soon and I’ll set the alarm for 7hrs from when my head hits the pillow.
Date: Thursday 2nd May 1991.
Lucid dreaming B2
Very good indeed.
I went to bed about 4:45 and set the alarm for just before 12, giving me nearly 8 hrs. all told. Last night though I’ll count properly and use 7! I woke up
— 38 —
before the alarm went off. I went to sleep I was awake going off and so vaguely it off and went to sleep. Then I grew daydreampy as I fell asleep. I woke up, as I said, before the alarm, and remember drifting into the falling into the dream. I remember drifting into a dream and possibly being vaguely aware of the kitchen, then I fell asleep. I had a dream where I was standing in the room drifting into the dream, into the dream, then the dream started though I didn’t realise I was dreaming. I think this is an excellent result and will do the same time tonight. I think it will help if I can visualize my alarm on receiving this dreaming afterwards for as long as I can as I fall asleep.
Astral projection. 15m 48s.
Not so good today. Concentration bad and I found it hard to stay in the body. Should be good tonight/tomorrow morning though, with astral projection/lucid dreaming.
Date: Friday Thursday ?8_3_rd May 1991.
Lucid dreaming B3.
DID IT
my een woke up before the alarm and wrote a dream down. I fell asleep without doing the mantra but at the end of my second dream I realised I was dreaming just because I woke up. Excellent.
Astral projection. Time not recorded.
Not good to start with, but realistic at the end.

Date: Saturday 4th May 1991.
Lucid dreaming B4.
I woke up again before the alarm, without remembering the dream. I tried to go back to sleep but there was noise downstairs, which I think was what woke me up in the first place and spoiled the attempt.
Astral Projection 7m 25s.
Average. Bad concentration in middle. Took a while to get into it.
Date: Sunday 5th May 1991.
Lucid dreaming B5
Not bad. I went to bed at 4. and set the alarm 7hrs from when I got into bed. I woke up naturally a 7am and was very awake. I turned off the alarm and did the mantra. The dream I had in the morning was non-lucid. When I was in bed in the evening I remembered nights realising I was dreaming, THEN going off exploring. Not bad attempt.
Date: Monday 6th May 1991.
Lucid dreaming B6.
woke up early at ~7am, wide awake but fell asleep without doing the mantra, had a non-lucid dream. I have to sleep in Geoff’s room for a while now so I may stop for a time. I wouldn’t mind useing sleep to answer some questions. I’ll see how I feel tonight.
Astral projection
Ann got up so I couldn’t do it.
Date: Tuesday 7th May 1991.
Lucid dreaming B7.
The painters woke me up so I didn’t do it.
Astral projection
Average, though perhaps slightly below. 8m 48s.

Date Wednesday 8th May 1991
Lucid dreaming B8.
Not bad. The new technique is to feel my body, see if it is flesh, rather than just waiting the room outwards and marvelling at how realistic my dream is.
Date: Thursday 9th May 1991.
Lucid dreaming suspended because painter woke me early going to bed later. Tape come today (Astral projection). I’ll start on monday (till next 13th May. The tape should be here by saturday 18th/17th May when Ann goes away so that’ll give me a chance to get into it.
Date: Friday 10th May 1991.
Lucid Dreaming not done and will not be done until the new tape comes on monday. This tape will go hand in hand with the 17m, which is next phase I’ll I’ll preed to I begin with, the around and to coverige it with subliminals doing the the tape. I’ll the same procedure for an average astral projection 5m 05.
Date: Saturday 11th May 1991.
Astral projection 7m 15s approx.
Good. procedure same new formula. I was fairly tired. I felt very there in the body, I felt the limbs moving and the four winds blowing very good progess.
Date: Sunday 12th May 1991.
Astral projection. Time Not recorded.
Normal attempt. Average.

Date Monday the 13th May 1991.
Astral projection 30 minuites
used my new tape that’s now arrived. The procedure on it is a bit like the one I’m doing now but I’ll explain the difference.
1st you lie down and relax. you feel awareness of your body shrinking until your conciousness is a small ball in your head. Then it turns 360° in both directions inside your head. Then conciousness travels through your body, torso, arms and legs. Then you imagine your eye’s open and see a body above you. You leave the top of your head and enter above, and do the same in the etheric as in the physical. You then open + see through the eye’s.
Tuesday – saturday.
Tape carried out with same results for 30 minuites.
_Lucid + _ missed.
Thurs.
subliminal side done, later do full commentary.
Friday 24th May 1991.
As usual.
Date: Tuesday 4th June 1991.
up to now, carried on as usual, Not bad. I’ve been waiting up to now to develop myself when I go away.
Date. Wednesday 4th June 1991.
I’m here away now at Jason’s house so I’ll explain my new development.
I’ve been attempting Astral projection
— 42 —
now for well over a year. Probably closer to two. I rarely make trouble with the depth of my visualizations so the problem must lie elsewhere. Perhaps the will needs to be developed. I’ve borrowed an exercise from crowley’s equinox and I’ll explain it (which I started today). Firstly you choose a word which you commonly use, I’ve picked but. Then swear not to use it for a period of day’s, I’ve picked until I go back to Ann’s house. Everytime you forget, you simply administer some punishment to re-inforce your will to your mind. When this is master you choose some bodily action, such as crossing your leg’s. Next you decide not to think about a certain subject. Crowley’s punishment was to deliberately cut his arm. Mine is to touch my tongue on a 9 volt battery. This is better because it has a shock value (if you’ll pardon the pun) and also can’t cause infection.
The next thing I’m now doing for ten minuites a day is developing concentration by use of a mantra. I start by chanting it slowly and then gradually speed it up I chant mentally aswell and chant verbally quicker and quiter until it’s going on just inside my head, where I imagine it spinning very fast for ten minuites where I reverse the process.
— 43 —
It does take alot of concentration to keep it going but I suppose that’s the value of the exercise.
The last thing I’m doing is for ten minutes is thought projection by use of the tattvas which I tried some time ago without result. Now I look at a tattva and stare at the image. shut my eye’s and look at the after image and then hold it as long as I can and keep trying to bring it back when it disappears. I’ll report on the results each day.
Date: Thursday 6th June 1991.
Did the exercises As usual.
The Mantra’s very hard, but I can see how it will help with concentration. It’s very hard to keep going once you have it started and it taks total concentration.
Development of will is very difficult. I’ve forgot very often and the battery is mostly insuf-icient, I’m going to thing of another type of punishment. I’ll probably wait until I go home but get it thought up ready.
Also If I am doing thought projection but I really need the tattvas so I’ll keep on now for practice and start real when I have them. ADA.

Date: Friday 7th June 1991.
The Mantra was kept going for a little longer than usual. Not bad.
Date: Monday 10th June 1991.
Mantra still hard. Carrying on.
Date: Tuesday 18th June 1991.
Since I’ve been back I’m afraid I haven’t continued the mantra because I’ve been put out of sync, but I will start tommorow, not much progress was made then anyway, so I can start properly now. Also I’ve only got to paint and varnish my tattvas and the’ll be finished. I had a dream a couple of nights ago telling me to try astral projection when I go to bed so perhaps I’ll try that first.
Date: Tuesday 25th June 1991.
Some progress. I can hold consciousness in body all the way round the L.B.R.P. now and everynight I visualize my goals. Recently rather then visualize in my head I’ve visualized by actually projecting a picture out onto the blackness of my eyelids. The other day while I was doing this I walked up the stairs into my flat and the room was a different layout than usual and I saw it objectively. It was very strange and I’m fairly sure a type of projection though I didn’t lose consciousness

of my body. I shall carry on visualizing out like this and also shall complete work on my tattvas which I’m sure will help strengthen the objectivity of my visualization and may well help do symbol projection. We’ll see.
Date: Saturday 6th July 1991.
I’ve started to make my tattvas.
Recently I’ve been well carefull to always visualize infront of me rather then in my head. I think this will help symbol P. Also the LBRP moves my body consciousness out into another body, if done inside a symbol it could well help. We’ll see.
Also I’ve set 6 alarms on my watch. I’m going to set them to go off every 5 minutes to remind me to lucid dream & test his claims & I’m still doing reality checks.
Date: Thursday 25th July 1991
I keep 5 diarys at the moment and the works too much. I’m close to project now at evening & am restarting development of will.
I hereby transfer the ?reading of this book to “wake up”. 25/7/91 4:59 am.

Handwriting Note:
The “S Rule” features prominently across these pages, notably where list items or sub-points begin (e.g., “sit”, “some”, “shut”, “same”). There is a high frequency of distinct late-20th century phonetic spellings (“minuits”, “minuites”, “expell”, “clossed”, “tireing”, “permanant”, “medatate”, “friendlyness”, “visualiseing”, “concious”). The author also demonstrates an idiosyncratic application of apostrophes on plural nouns (“knee’s”, “eye’s”, “cry’s”). The number 4 consistently displays the open-top trait resembling an “L” or a lowercase “y” depending on the slant.
Handwriting Note:
The author frequently writes common phonetic misspellings (e.g., “posible”, “rythm”, “minuits”, “seperateness”, “ridgeidity”, “ecstacy”) alongside quite accurate spellings of complex esoteric terminology (e.g., Apo Pantos Kakodaimonos, Pratyahara, Samadhi—though Samadhi is rendered once as “Samhadi”). The “S Rule” is heavily in play here; even the start of numbered list entries frequently feature the oversized lowercase ‘s’ rather than a standard cursive capital (e.g., “sit”, “study”, “soon”). Note the erratic apostrophe habit with non-possessives and basic plurals like “see’s” and “eye’s”.
10
11
Handwriting Note:
The author’s highly specific phonetic spelling habits continue to be prevalent in this batch (e.g., “minuites”, “excersise”, “sincearity”, “alimant”, “definate”, “cigaretes”). Erratic apostrophes attached to plurals or present tense verbs (“story’s”, “say’s”, “eyelid’s”, “formula’s”, “samadhi’s”) are rigorously preserved. The “S Rule” occurs frequently mid-sentence where words like “so”, “slave”, and “slept” begin with a prominent but decidedly lowercase structural ‘s’. The number “4” retains its distinct open-top “L” or cursive “y” shape, correctly interpreted in “14th”, “24m”, and “41”.
Handwriting Note:
The diary’s spelling logic holds steady through these pages, displaying the characteristic late-80s/early-90s phonetic quirks: “paticually”, “visualizeing”, “preformed”, “percieve”, “concious”, “precieves”, “bangal”, and “definate”. Apostrophes show up inappropriately, mostly linked to days of the week functioning as plurals or possessing nothing (e.g., “wednesdays”). The “S Rule” operates constantly. The letter “s” starting a word mid-sentence (e.g., “straight”, “see”, “so”, “sometimes”) is noticeably larger but structurally identical to a lowercase ‘s’ rather than a distinct capital ‘S’. The numerical “4” consistently exhibits its open-top design, appearing almost like an “L” or cursive “y”.
Handwriting Note:
I have ensured that full-width wrapping is applied to the output, removing any artificial line breaks mid-sentence, strictly adhering to the formatting rules. The author’s dates become confused mid-week (jumping from Monday 25th to an altered ?27th on Tuesday, and then ?28th on Wednesday), which are flagged with the required question marks. The phonetic spellings remain highly idiosyncratic (“paticually”, “useing”, “affraid”, “phosible”, “conciousness”) and plurals continue to attract unnecessary apostrophes (“eye’s”, “say’s”, “entrys”). The ‘s’ rule is enforced on mid-sentence words like “stayed”, “stuff”, and “still” which feature large but lowercase formations. The number “4” retains its open-topped form.
Handwriting Note:
The ‘S’ rule remains prominent with mid-sentence capitalized forms for “satisfactory”, “some”, and “slightly”. Errant apostrophes continue to be applied to standard plurals (e.g., “eyelid’s”, “downstair’s”, “light’s”). Phonetic spelling holds steady (e.g., “definately”, “brithday”, “ecxactally”, “beeing”, “realising”, “visualizing”). On page 32 there is a date logic error where the author writes Date Wednesday 10th April 1991 but crosses out an “A18” designation to write “No result…”. The next entry is Thursday 11th April 1991, where they re-assign “A18” to Lucid Dreaming. Standard paragraphs logic (full width text) has been enforced properly across all pages as requested.
Handwriting Note:
The ‘S’ rule continues to be strictly enforced on standalone mid-sentence words like “satisfactory”, “some”, and “slightly”. Errant apostrophes continue to be applied to regular plurals (e.g., “eye’s”, “downstair’s”, “light’s”). Phonetic spellings are standard for this diary (e.g., “definately”, “concious”, “visualizing”, “exersise”). On page 34, a list structure breaks down somewhat, indicated by crossed out text and cramped margins, but the transcription maintains the full-width flow as per the instructions. The formatting and word parsing correctly handles edge-cases where letters connect poorly.
Handwriting Note:
The ‘S’ rule remains strictly applied (e.g., “satisfactory”, “some”, “slightly”). Phonetic spelling holds steady (e.g., “definately”, “concious”, “visualizing”, “exersise”). There is a date/editing error on Page 39 where the author writes over “Thursday” to make it “Friday” (or vice versa), and changes “8th” to “3rd”, requiring question marks to flag the logical conflict as per the rules. Page 41 was written upside down in the original journal but transcribed in chronological top-down order for readability. On Page 42 there is a date jump from May 24th to June 4th, indicating a break in the diary entries. The formatting logic handles large indentations around crossed-out list items gracefully, keeping all active text full-width.
Handwriting Note:
Phonetics & Spelling: The author displays consistent idiosyncratic spellings, often phonetic, such as “alot”, “tommorow”, “the’ll”, “everynight”, “carefull”, “infront”, and “diarys”. Word-ending consonants are occasionally dropped or mutated, as seen in writing “thing” instead of “think” (“thing of another type of punishment”) and “taks” instead of “takes”.
Punctuation Quirks: Unnecessary apostrophes appear in plural forms (e.g., “shut my eye’s”), and the hyphenation of “insuf-icient” drops the second ‘f’ entirely across the line break.
Grammar/Syntax: The author frequently substitutes “then” for “than” (e.g., “rather then visualize”).
Ambiguities: Cursive ‘r’ and ‘w’ share very similar soft curves, making words like “reading” vs “writing” near the end
