Book of Shadows 2 (Diary)

Note: The book begins with me asking questions and then I write down some interpretations which I was copying from a book. I will not include the interpretations on the basis they would mean simply copying somebody else’s writing.

I was on stage playing guitar and singing to children.

I showed Geoff a magazine of flats from an estate agents. I told him I was thinking of buying one and he said I’d never afford it. Then I went to the bookies and I put loads of money on and won thousands. I looked in the magazine and saw something to do with 2%.

I was at Ann’s house and I got a letter about my book or something, from a publishing house. It was thick as though it had a contract in it.

I was in the bank and this girl walked in and the cashiers quickly hid the money. Then we walked out under the [unreadable, possibly spiraling] bridge and we got to a railway that had no trains on. The rails held things up with electricity or magnetism or something. The girl urged me on but the power threw me off course and I fell into a lagoon.

Second attempt I made it. The girl made me take a firework with a nuclear flare.

Then I was in my bedroom reading a book of poetry. Then I read a green clear plastic plaque dedicated to a man from the 23rd century. I sold it to a boy for a pound.

Then I was singing a really powerful song on a piano and I started crying.

Then I was in Euston station trying to buy some food with an access card but I spoke my name wrong so the man wouldn’t accept it.

Then I was walking home from school and I had to make a detour.

Then Mum made a model castle and covered it with a green cloth. Ann trying to help but did it wrong so I shouted at her and she started crying. Then I did some magic.

Geoff came round and asked me for his belt back.

I drove all the way to Birmingham and then didn’t have enough petrol to get home.

I was walking along a car park listening to a couple rowing. The woman was complaining that she was too old. I got in their coach full of old people, I sat next to an old woman. Then a man started a fire and an ambulance turned up and took us away. We went through the countryside and there were barriers keeping us out, but we just smashed through them.

Then I was dropped off at the entrance to elaborate underground tunnels. Outside there was a grey cat that I knew was a god. I tried to cover it with a grey piece of cloth, but the cloth had an eye space cut out and turned into a cloak. A dog helped me get past it. First I came to a man drinking whiskey. He attacked me but I used karate to beat him. Then a girl joined me. Then we came to a tunnel with an orchard in which was full of [unreadable, could be bees]. I took a detour but soon got back on route. In the end I got out the labyrinth and won a prize.

I was watching TV when I had my name announced and realised I’d won an art competition. The results were read out by a well-known artist who commented on my work and invited me to stay in her mansion. She said she’s in the car and we could stop off in Aberdeen.

Then I was at Ann’s house and I had a bell made out of pottery/clay.

Then I was driving along in this mini car with the girl. We’ve been taking video film. Inside a house I saw my sister and asked her if she knew what setsuko is and she said a biscuit filled with liquid.

The shopping was so heavy that I had to keep putting it down. Suddenly I felt angry because I knew Brian would be home and was probably shouting at her.

I had an electronic keyboard and I told it what to play and it would play it. Then I opened it up and found a silver cat (big cat) or leopard and it was inside.

Then I was in the lounge and I pulled a cat’s tail off and I wrapped it in a blanket and gave me some bread to eat. [Sic]

Then I was by a railway bridge and I had to go miles across tracks trying to get out. There were ladders up the bridge and they were too high or not high enough. Then I stopped walking. I was totally alone feeling peaceful and excited. On my left was a pile of sand and on my right was a clear, slow moving river. Then I saw some things go by: a big glass bottle, a glass cross, a glass crystal, a glass sword, and a black scarf.

Then I made a white candle and lit it at home. Ann came down and shouted because she thought I’d burn something, so I showed her the candle and she was okay.

I’d been arrested for doing a secret water ritual and I thought myself interviewed on the news on TV.

Then I was in the shop and I bought a piece of wood with numbers on one side and an alphabet on the other. I also saw a woman buying pencils. Then I saw a woman buying pencils. [Sic] I went to pay and found a five pound note so I gave it to charity.

I feel absolutely awful, it’s come from nowhere. A deep set depression which darkens my thoughts. I want to kill myself but to do so I’d need to be drunk and there’s only one bottle of champagne in the cupboard and it wouldn’t be enough to give me the guts to take my own life. A friend came round about a week ago and took about 20 headache pills in front of me for a joke and he was fine so I think if I did it I’d use a razor on my wrists. But the thought of each drip falling to the floor, my life ebbing away with each plink, terrifies me. I want to disappear, I want to be gone, I don’t want to exist, but I’m alone. Who wants to be alone when they die? I don’t want silence eating away at my existence as I cease to be.

I have a vision of hell. I kill myself but everything goes black, then I wake up and I’m a baby. Back in the same cold world. There’s no escape from this stupidity of people. I know that even if good things happen around me I’ll still feel bad because of a general dissatisfaction, what’s the point in anything if I’ll always feel bad. I’m 100% sure that if I had more drink here I’d end my life now. Reflection, a mirror becomes a razor when it’s broken. I’d feel better if I had something specific to feel bad about, but I don’t. I hate the red girl even when I’m ignoring her. The hate is for me but the love is for god. She thinks her lies hide everything but I can see it all. She lives in the dream, basing life on appearance, but karma will teach her. She’s probably smiling now for her painful hatred but my hurt will show to the lord and he will allow me to repay her kind while he anoints my head. Bless the red girl, bless the red girl, for in doing this I love her and this pleases the lord, and her life amounts to nothing except a momentary happiness in all things, one day she’ll see this but it will be too late, refusing to repent in the pits of hell.

I was in an old vintage car with Mum driving through the dead of night in the forest. We broke down. I got out then looked down a valley and saw the lights of the town. Suddenly another car came in the opposite direction [sic] and it veered off the road illuminating a line of trees. I went back to our car and I saw two Nazi Germany soldiers having a candlelit dinner.

Then I was in the supermarket and I was sharing a trolley with a woman and she got mad and tipped the contents all over the floor. I started shouting and smashed a box of eggs on the floor.

I came home from the shop with a hacksaw and I used it to enter a crashed plane I came across. I went in singing and a man told me he was my new flatmate and I knocked lots of ornaments off the shelf. Then there was someone in the kitchen cooking. Then a boy said he was doing the same exams as me and that I’d missed some but that I could easily catch up. I asked him what the price was and he showed me a badge with two planes on. Then someone chucked water into my cooking fat and I went mad and broke a plate.

I was in the Japanese school and I stood up and saw I wanted to sit with a particular person so I called their name but three people had that name, so I had to pick one. I then got expelled because I had a forged passport. When I got home there were rubbish bags all over the lawn with a tramp running off with a bottle. There was a bag which school had sent on with my keys inside.

I was Irish and in Ireland and I got lost and I had this blind man with me and we came to a river and he jumped in to get to the other side but I wouldn’t go so he came back and I saw a complete set of China on the floor. Then I met this woman who invited us to her house and I told her I was a Protestant. I went to bed and on my bedside table I saw a kind of clock with a timer which vibrated, it had a picture of Nostradamus on it and inside I could see staples.

I was in the army and a sergeant major went mad at me and I told him I was going to go camping in South Africa. Then I saw a massive black plane coming toward me. Then a black nurse said with all the money the defence cost they could have vaccinated lots of children. Then I saw my friend and we went to town. We saw some soldiers in an ice cream van and we told them we were cadets. I tried to shoot a pigeon but missed.

Then I saw a doctor tell another doctor he was going to deliver a baby with asthma and he wanted to let the parents know.

Then I saw a teacher resign. I looked up and saw a church steeple with a clock on it that said six o’clock.

Then I went shopping at the local shop and me and this boy and girl all went out to a concert. We went home and a boy asked me if he could borrow a book of mine and I said no.

Next day they played ping-pong and the balls were stuck on the roof, so I picked them off.

I was in town in a very busy market and I saw a friend who dropped chewing gum all over a towel, so he had to pay for it. Then I saw a display put out by the cinema showing how many tickets had been sold; it said groups of 10, 5, 1, then I woke up.

I was trying to climb some stairs and there were ducks everywhere. The stairs led to a bridge which stopped short of crossing it. On one of the steps there was a nest with ducklings in it. A woman came to me to remark on how nice they were.

I was in a shop and I picked up a leaflet about a castle in the black forest and I decided to go there. The shop was fairly empty and I went past lots of snooker tables. I picked a pink ball and it had fallen in half. I went upstairs and I was back at school. There was a girl limping. We told her friend she’d hurt her heel and her name was Girl and Bobby and if she cares about her future she will have to change.

I was in an arcade thing. I was going to try and win a geisha doll but thought I’d do it later. Then I watched some tennis. Then my friend played an arcade game called ‘Vietnam’.

Then I went to live on a farm.

Two friends came round and Simon gave me his jacket and told me he’d swindled me. Then I did my tarot cards and everybody fell asleep on them. I put the fool and the devil on Simon. I went upstairs and there was tinsel everywhere and I practised Buddhism.

Then I was in London on a tube train and she missed her stop. We got off at a railway bridge and I went into a shop. I bought a pen, cigarettes and lots of fish. When I went to pay a man said if I’d let him catch them, they would have been bigger. Then he went to the counter to get some bigger fish and started skinning them, but he did it wrong and messed up. Then some of the staff went on strike because they ran out of coffee/hot chocolate/cocoa.

I was walking around the streets looking for a way home and I saw a royal king procession/parade come past on horseback. Me and Geoff went to talk to a stable girl and I got a psychic impression/vibe that she recently used ?paint, so I asked her and she said she had. Then Geoff took her to a restaurant which was packed and he had a hamburger and chips.

I was insane. I knocked someone over accidentally in a dream. I met a tramp and saw my photo in the paper with dyed blonde hair telling me to ring a number.

I was trapped on the stair by three large angry bears. Jason and Simon were trapped with me. I used a staff to hit them with and ran out the front door after turning a key. Then Simon got out and got his leg trapped in the door and one turned to a hook and he said it looks like the devil’s ?leg. I told him to go back and get my diary.

Then I was at school with the job of chancellor, it was in the Grosvenor. There was a murder and I had to go to the toilet. The police made me sign a register. I went upstairs to the toilet and it turned into a library. There was an Oriental girl and I brought her out.

Then I was out at night and I was walking home with an old man. He showed me a shortcut and I got to his house.

Very strange experience while meditating. I was concentrating on the throat chakra when I heard a young girl’s voice recite the four times table, very loudly, then I felt strange pressure in my head and chest, as though someone was pushing on them.

Next day I woke up and was walking around the house and I accidentally woke Mum up. Then I put on a bangle but it was too big and where I used to keep my pyramid there was a massive 2 foot ring. I picked it up and put it down.

Me, Mum and Brian all went shopping and I saw Mum’s new neighbours. I hid and told Mum they were evil and never to trust them. Then, right in the middle of the shopping centre, I saw an author, but I had to wait for the evil neighbours to leave until I could go and talk to him.

Then I was in Abington Park shooting targets with a friend. He wouldn’t let me have any more pellets because they were too expensive. Then he showed me a large dart and I think I pricked myself with it.
